Hypnotizing chickens!

So this weekend I was at a family christmas brunch and it just so happened to be that my grandma has some chickens in her backyard. My cousin being the entertainer he is, said he can hypnotize chickens and in the video below u can find proof...
I'm not sure if that's a hypnotized chicken or just a very scared one though :p

(no chickens were harmed!)

What do you guys do to keep family events interesting?

Christmas & JIM

Hi guys,

I cannot believe it's christmas eve tomorrow! I don't know if it's the same at your house, but here we're busy getting everything ready for our christmas bash! I'm so excited (and broke, i'm a sucker for buying too many christmas prezzies) and so happy that it's a white christmas :-)

A few days ago I had my first real TV appearance, I was so nervous (but "good" nervous :-)) and I think it went ok, all though next time I have to look in the right camera! :p If you curious, definitely check out this link:

I know what you did.... last week

Who else is loving the snow!?! I know I am :-)

I've had a great last week, I performed twice, which I know isn't ridiculously much but I just love every opportunity I get to sing so I was happy...
The first performance was at an event for  "Ronduit magazine", I felt really honored to be asked for it because it was in sign of the future "stars of Belgium" so pretty cool! Only sang two songs, my first single which is in stores next week! (you can check it out @ www.sonicangel.com/artist/alice/music "U make my heart beat") and Santa Baby, just cuz I looove christmas songs :-)
It was alotta fun and I got to hang out with the artists, which was great.
Saturday I performed in two ECI shops, first in Wijnegem and then at the store in Hasselt, it was the first time I actually played it with the guitarist from my band and it worked out super well! It was just acoustic but sounded pretty good (if i may say so :p)
Tomorrow I've got my first television appearance, I'm singing a song on JIM tv (Belgian television) and they're gonna interview me, hope I don't fall or say anything stupid :p
If you're in Belgium definitely tune in, it's on JIM fuzz, between 17 and 19 pm

XXX-MAS FEVER

Today was a good day; I met up with friends, hung out with family and decorated our christmas tree!
I always like christmas and everything around it, it's a time of hope and happiness and they play music in the streets... what's not to love? I always think it's crazy how it only seems like yesterday when last years christmas was on, and how much has changed or maybe how things haven't changed enough... Two christmases ago was the first one without a loved family member and with a split family, losing those two things in only one year was hard and i remember thinking that it was going to be a depressing christmas but somehow it was one of the most special ones I've had... everyone was hopeful, hopeful for a better year and a white christmas... family and good friends have a way of making you feel better, even if it's not in the same formation as usual. This year, not a lot is different than last year... I guess really the only difference is that I'm a recording artist, which is what I hoped for last xmas and now I am happy to tell you guys that my first single is coming out the 15th of jan 2011, so I can't help but wonder where I'll be next christmas? Still in the same place as last year (full of optimistic or some might say delusional dreams :p), or maybe a lot will have changed, and people will have actually bought my single :p
Either way, this week decorate your tree, laugh and talk with your family, meet up with friends... Be happy... I know, a tad mushy but hey it's nearly christmas, I think that gives me a free pass :p

Sleeptight!

I'm back

Hi guys,

I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but that is all gonna change...
I've just had a crazy couple of weeks, I've been busy studying, singing and am in England atm, but i'm off home again tmrw. My super cute cat Coco passed away in a stupid accident a week ago so I've been really sad about that but luckily my english get away is making me feel better, but please in this weather don't forget to cover up/close ponds and pools because its dangerous for those adorable little animals...

I have a busy couple of weeks ahead and am excited to share it with all of you guys so I hope you'll all check in regularly :-)

Have a relaxing sunday night!

X
